Dynamism, wild spirit, devotion to beauty and a passion for art and music are what pushed the young designer Julio Jonas to give life to a brand forged by fusing exoticism and freedom with typical European elegant and refined traits.
JØNAS takes its first steps on the mysterious and enchanted island of Antigua, in the Caribbean Sea. Thanks to the support of a group of Canadians, it began its journey with a series of garments that encompass the brand's DNA. The locals were immediately enchanted and as time went by, they became increasingly invested in the brand's redefined reality.
Though bringing acclaimed success to the island, the brand chose to set its roots in Italy, a counting that has always been considered seductive, introspective and full of stimuli.
A succession of events and iconic moments led JØNAS to quickly be considered among the best-known brands in Italy.
The visionary and creative spirit of Julio Jonas, the designer and founder of JØNAS, combines his Latin origins and the great sartorial tradition of a " Made in Italy "product to create a brand of garments with a contemporary, and modern style capable of interpreting the most relevant trends from unique and kaleidoscopic dimension.
In 2018 the brand collaborated with team of photographers from the most evocative places in Italy, for Vogue Gallery Photography. Amid the competition, JØNAS managed to stand out among the top in the rankings thanks to some of its ethnic-style creations.

The "Ø" is the main symbol of the brand. It represents our mother Earth divided by a line that separates the two curious realities of the designer: the first rooted in his Latin origins, precisely in Cuba where he was born and lived, and the other his new life in Europe, Italy.

THE DESIGNER: JULIO JONAS
Born in Santiago de Cuba on February 28, 1995. From an early age he showed a sublime predisposition for art and the creation of objects. After moving with his mother to Italy, he is overwhelmed by a flood of stimuli that opened his eyes to new things and new ways encouraging him to deepen and nurture his talent. After studying as a surveyor, he began to travel the world, developing an interest and passion for the most varied cultures. His last trip to Antigua led him to connect with the native people, learning various manufacturing techniques in the clothing field. This land filled with the most varied colors and beauties, rich in flora and fauna, here is where his greatest passion and dream began to take shape.
